Im 32 weeks pregnant with my daughter and just about a week ago I started to get a ridiculous itch down there with lots of cottage like discharge. So I went to my doc. and he told me it was just a yeast infection and gave me a 3day treatment…Ive used the treatment and the itching has almost gone away but not all the way, and now its Swollen down there, it burns a bit, and theres little bumps all over. Now I am a carrier of the herpes 1 virus (never have a break out, just hold the virus. caught it from using friends lip gloss, big mistake. dont borrow friends lip anything, seriously lol) so what Im wondering is could I be having a break-out down there from herpes that the doc mistook for a yeast infection or am i like allergic to watever the heck it was he gave me..?? please tell me your thoughts. no mean ones tho please…thank you
uh is that cottage cheese question serious? lol

and yea but can a doctor mistake the two?

In the past week Ive been itchy around my vaginal area. Thinking it was a yeast infection, I treated it as one with a Monistat yeast kit. I was feeling better after the last treatment, but 2 days after the last treatment was very itchy again.
Today while showering, I felt 2 bumps down there…that is what’s itching. But they feel like those under-the-skin pimples…
About me: I;m in my twenties. I’ve only had 1 sexual partner (the man I’m married to). We’ve been together for more that 5 years. We havn’t had any sexual activities for the past 2 weeks.
I;ve gone to medical websites, but the only info I’m finding is on herpes……there is NO CHANCE that I have herpes.
I have a doctors appointment next week for this, but I’m getting really paraniod about it.

Any other thoughts?
There is NO chance I have an STD.
And yes, I totally trust my husband….besides the fact that he’s not having any of these itchy bumps.

i have some sores around my vagina. i know they are not herpes, or any result of an std.

i’m going to the doctor tomorrow.

but i was wondering if any of you know what i could have:
i have round sores which are very tender and sore and swollen.
i have liquidy discharge and a bit of an odor.

what type of treatment will the doctor prescribe?
if you know of any websites that have descriptions/pictures of different conditions that could possibly help me in the process of finding out what i have, please post them.

I have contract the disease about 3 months ago and have had 3 outbreaks so far, the first was so bad the following two not so bad.
I have been taking lysine, an immune system booster vitiman and I put aloe vera on the infected area, is there anything else I can do? I am worried about the frequency of the outbreaks

I have Fibromyalgia, and every so often, I get a lovely rash, with the most embarrassing of them on my nose. I’ve been tested for Lupus, along with everything else under the sun, and all have been negative. I’ve read that people with Fibro do sometimes get rashes, but have yet to find any treatment, let alone one that works.

I have tried just about everything I can think of….hydrocortisone cream, tea tree oil, alcohol, witch hazel, and even Abreva on the off chance that it was some rogue herpes thing that my whacked out immune system was bringing out, but no luck there either. I have run out of ideas.

They usually occur after feeling "blah" (but not really a flare…those put me down and out for days), and during that time, my body temperature is regulation is on the fritz too.

I would really appreciate hearing from someone who also has this problem, and if you have found something that actually works. Makeup doesn’t cover it up, so something that heals FAST would really help!

I was wondering if you can take any herpes treatment with Chrohn’s.

I recently went to the docs and they told me I had herpes simplex virus type 2. They gave me some anti viral medication to clear it up and told me to go to a clinic as soon as it had.
Now that the outbreak had cleared, my partner and I want to go to the clinic but I was wondering if anyone knows any more about the virus? Will I be on medication for the rest of my life now? Or do they just give you stuff for an outbreak?

I woke up this morning and Under TO THE SIDE of my genitals are two warts. Are the genital herpes? There not on my genitals soo? Treatment? Cure? Help?
