I had protected sex two weeks ago. about three days later my scrotum began to itch and i got what i thought was acne under my lower lip. the acne then went away in a few days. I have noticed bumps on my neck that come and go in a day and now i have more acne on the other side of my lower lip and some other bumps around my face but not in clusters. Most of my body now itches and I have small bumps in various places and what looks like ringworm on the inside of my thigh and on the inside of my arm. I have gone to get tested for herpes but I was wondering if anyone knows if its a fungal infection.

I have no symptoms and I would like to read any experience about the blood tests. If the test can be positive with no symptoms.
Anyone of you r herpes suffers with no symptoms but with a positive blood test in herpes or do I have to wait for the outbreak?

My test came up negative, but I heard of people still having it because the test wasnt accurate. What is the best way to know for sure.

i did the herpes test 7 years ago and it came negative.about 3 years ago i developed pink spots on my legs and they itch.what could they be?
so if i have hives is it contagious?

I recently had intercourse with someone who is now telling me they found out they may or may not have herpes. If i went and got tested right away would it show up, or would i need to wait a month or so before it would be discovered on any tests?

How long after a sexual encounter will herpes show up on a blood test? I know the q-tip test is only effective if you have symptoms, which I dont. What I’d like to know is how long does it take for the herpes antibodies to show up on a herpes blood test? Thanks.

I’m pretty sure I have Vaginal Herpes, I’m not scared to get tested or anything I just don’t know what they do.
I’ve been having problems for a while but the docter keeps telling me its a yeast infection. But I think its something much worse. I’ve tried all kinds of medication and it doesn’t help. It’s just getting worse.
So what happens when you get tested for this?

I want to know if anyone has had a similar experience. I recently had what the dr thought was my first genital herpes outbreak. She took a culture which came back negative. Then I went back in for a follow-up and was told that even though the culture was negative that doesn’t mean I don’t have it. So she did a blood test, but then told me that if the blood test comes back negative it still doesn’t mean I don’t have it and I would have to go back in for another blood test 3-4 months later. Well my blood test came back negative too. Does this sound wrong to anyone? It doesn’t make sense that it would take 3 negatives to finally confirm it truly is negative.
