I’m 16 and from the philippines.
I’m going to get tested on the seventh of september.
I do not have herpes, but with this happening… I’m not sure anymore.

Here is my case.
Please take this seriously as i have still not calmed my mental unrest.
I’ve been tormented and scared of herpes.

today, it was hot outside and i went to the store, and i saw someone walk past me, my hands was in front of me and i felt something hit my finger. I’m not sure if it was saliva or not but immediately i felt it when the woman walked pass me. I looked at the woman, (she was asian) and when i looked closely, i noticed like a slight reddening area around her vermillion of her upper lip area. But i didn’t see any blisters or anything. Is it a possible risk? or am i just being paranoid at all?

Please help, it’s really worrying me now that i’m not even letting my hand touch any other area on my body.

I would gladly appreciate all of your opinions big time.

by the way. I’m sure it’s not sweat that hit me.
I’m just not sure if it was her saliva or something
She didn’t spit and i didn’t hear her speak.
But when she walked pass beside me, i felt something hit my finger

I’m not sure also if she has herpes, but still i’m scared.
Should I worry about it ? Should I be scared?
Do you think i may have caught it?

A few weeks back, I was diagnosed with herpes simplex (oral). This one is not an STD. it is transmitted by touching the things used by an infected person. The doctor said that the infection could occur again and gave me a cream to apply if it did.
Now, I read on the internet that the virus could be transmitted to another person simply by kissing.
And, I don’t know how to tell that to my girlfriend. We haven’t kissed yet, but I do love her and don’t want to put her at any risk. The Herpes virus stays in the body lifelong.
I really don’t know how to tell her this. I can’t kiss her. I should not let her touch any where near my mouth.
What do I do????

In december I went to the doctor for a pap and it came back abnormal. The doctor said not to worry about it and just come back in the year. I have genital herpes and have been worried about the abnormal pap now for a while. Recently I have met the love of my life and I want to make sure I don’t give him anything. What exactly does having an abnormal pap mean? Is it HPV? I know basically no one can answer this question and that my best bet is to go to the doctor. But I just would like to find out some more info from someone who has experienced the same thing.
I’m kinda scared to go to the doctor, but it needs to be done..

Why does the media perpetuate the myth of "safe sex". When one has intercourse, skin always touches skin, even with a condom…

Wouldn’t SJP and hte other ladies of Sex and the City have herpes by now???

In particular what can we do to prevent him from transmitting the disease to me? I understand the use of condoms, but is there anything else we should look out for? I am not dismissing him due to his condition so that is not an option.

What are the chances of me getting herpes from, NOT kissing the girl directly, NOT recieving oral sex from the girl, but she rubbed it accidently then soon after jerked me off? (i dont think she rubbed it on the palm of her hand, so it wouldnt have touched me directly?) AND it was a cold sore? what are the chances?

can i make a case against her for putting me in harms way intentionally by not telling me about it?after all its her responsibility to tell me. i will have this for the rest of my life, it has left scars both physically and emotionally. also the meds cost me to much and i am not working at the time.im now at high risk of cancer to as the cells can turn cancerous.i feel like i will never be loved and i cant enjoy life to the fullest.
i’ve seen this case before online, i remember that mike vick football player had a case against him,dont no if the girl won or not though.

What are the chances of acquiring hepatitis A or C from kissing? How long after infection can one expect herpes to appear?
