Treatment for genetial Herpes?

I have contract the disease about 3 months ago and have had 3 outbreaks so far, the first was so bad the following two not so bad.
I have been taking lysine, an immune system booster vitiman and I put aloe vera on the infected area, is there anything else I can do? I am worried about the frequency of the outbreaks
