is it regualr to have symptoms of oral herpes at the end of an outbreak?

because i have a felling that i caught hsv-1 type and i got a pimple type sore next to my lip. i’ve had it for about a week and its already going away. but my throat barely started hurting today and i’m getting alot of saliva…they say swollen lymph nodes and lots of saliva are symptoms. so is it possible that i have herpes even if i barely got symptoms at the end of a breakout?? please help answer my question.
