Hepatitis A is contracted through fecal-oral contamination so the mode of transmission is usually contaminated food. Hepatitis C is blood bourne so it is highly unlikely that kissing would transmit the virus unless both parties had open bleeding sores.
Herpes can lie dormant for a long time. This leads to many people being infected and not knowing it and then speading it to others.
you do not contract hep c from kissing. my father has been kissing my mother for many years and he has hep c and she does not.
