in general herpes needs the amino acid L-arginine to reproduce and you can lower the amount of it, in you re body by using an arjinine antagonist like L-lysine this amino acid compete for absorption with arjinine by taking more lysine the arjinine is flush out of the body as a result the herpes virus has nothing to fed on this way you lower the viral load and the symptoms disappear it works well but is not cure. the dosage is from 2 grams 2 times per day

I know this isn’t the best answer but she should limit her intake of arginine an amino acid.It’s found in most proteins especially meat.There are prescriptions available but absolutely no cure.
